BEES WAX

Leather Maintenance OMBRO LEATHER GOODS

BEES WAX 2

HOW TO CARE:

OMBRO LEATHER  uses natural beeswax to polish and protect leather.

Beeswaxing your leather wallet, belt or bag every year will prolong the lifetime of the leather.
Beeswax gives moisture back into the leather goods.
If zips ever get tough; BEESWAX is the answer (put a little bit of beeswax on the zip and use the zip with the beeswax in it and it will smooth out the zip; Zips get tough when they are dry, beeswax gives it moisture to run smooth again)
A little beeswax goes a long way
Ombro uses duzz-allBeeswax.co.nz

We recommend that you use your wallet every single day.

Only one card slot per card slot is recommended. Use the wallet for the designed puerpose  otherwise  you will over stretch out the leather and potentially the cards could fall out.  Also, doubling up cards can damage your credit cards.

Try not to carry to many Australian 50c coins in your wallet, the sharp silver edges could tear into the leather from when people sit on their wallets.. (Is it worth ruining a $50 wallet over 50c coins?) Gold coins are ok as they are smaller not as heavy and smoother edges.

IMPORTANT LEATHER CARE

DO NOT WET LEATHER IT WILL RESHAPE ITS SIZE
DO NOT ALLOW LEATHER TO SIT IN THE SUN FOR TOO LONG, SOMETIMES THIS WILL RESHAPE ITS SIZE AND FADE THE TANNING COLOUR

PLEASE NOTE:

Ombro can 100% guarantee that none of our cows are killed for leather- leather is a by-product, leather is ´´using all the animal after the meat industries process. Instead of the meat industries just throwing away the skin to waste, we use all the animal. The meat industry will always be in our society therefore we use leather to have longer lasting products and try to not become over consumers. Longer lasting leather is better than plastic and other mass produced fabrics (i.e polyester and nylon) which are not good for the enviroment.

OMBRO only uses Genuine cow leather for its strength, moulding attributes  and longevity. Cow is the second strongest of leathers (crocodile being the strongest).

We do not use goat or sheep leather, this can be softer and cheaper but is not as strong as Cow.
