A GUIDE TO CHOOSING A WALLET OMBRO LEATHER GOODS

It can be difficult choosing the right wallet to meet your needs.  We have identified a few criteria that should be considered when looking for the perfect wallet…

• Card Capacity

• Coin purse or no coin purse

• Outer clasp ?

• Colour

CARD CAPACITY

This is the number of card slots to suit your cards.  It is not a good idea to put 2 cards in 1 slot because it will stretch the leather. Once the leather is stretched it will never go back.  Your cards can fall out if they dont fit snug in their slot.  

Everthing is a compromise.  For example, if you want a coin purse in your wallet it will reduce the number of card slots available. Below is a few styles with varying card capacities:

COINS OR NO COINS?

Do you put coins in your wallet?  If yes then half our wallets have a dedicated coin purse.  In most wallets coin purse is double stitched at the bottom to provide longevity. 

OUTER CLASP ?

Do you want to lock your wallet?  This is a matter of personal taste.  A clasp does provide a more secure wallet however some people may find it not nessasary.

COLOUR

The colour of the wallet is of course a matter of personal preference.

Mens wallets come in 3 colours – Black, brown or green. Black will gloss with age. Brown will darken and have a classic leather look.  Green brings you money! – or so the superstition says. (No guarantees)

Ladies wallets come in all colours of the rainbow.  If its not on the website we may have it so email us if you like a particular colour.
